The Dotty Deliciousness from Twosome can be worn as a tunic (also with a see-through primy thingy) or as a skirt and a short top. Wearing both, tunic and skirt looks a bit christmastreeish, but if that’s what you’re looking for? *shrugs* It’s priced only 120L$! Yay!

I initially wanted to showcase this look I created right after my post on gracie’s shape. To show how her dress fits all sizes and shapes… and also because I’m so excited to find her store and her very elegant designs. I never got around editing the photos and I finally got the chance to do so — hope you guys like ^^

あの人は言った。人生はまるで安手のテレビゲームみたいなものだって。じゃあわたしがプレイしているこのゲームのジャンルはいったいなんなのかな？願わくばそれがサイレント・ヒルみたいな恐ろしいゲームでありませんように。そういったらあの人は笑った。わたしはそれが何故か妙に癪に障ったのだ。勇者は生まれ故郷の街を出発する。布の服を身に纏い「ひのきのぼう」を手に。では自分がこの街から出るときには何を持っていけばいいのだろう。午後遅く、地下鉄が部分的に地上を走るその間、窓から差し込む春の日差しの中でわたしはそんなことを考えていました。携帯と通帳とipodでも持ってけばいい？ あと健康保険証も？時々自分の現実的すぎるところがイヤになります。でもそのときわたしはぼんやりと思い出したのです。。ああ、わたしはもうとっくにライフコッドの街を出発してしまっていたのでした…。一番最初にプレイしたゲームがドラクエ6でした。告白するとわたしはドラクエは６しかやったことがない。邪道の誹りを受けても仕方ありません。でもやっぱりドラクエは好きになれない。でもそのことはこの際どうでもいい話です。ドラクエ６で生まれ故郷のライフコッドの街を出た主人公は、その長い冒険の終わりに、最愛の妹ターニャとの永遠に別れなければならなくなります。（覚えてた？）実はライフコッドは夢の世界で、妹は夢の世界の住民だったからです。冒険が終わると勇者は夢から覚めてしまう。もう大好きなターニャには永遠に会えない。子供だったわたしはそのエンディングで泣きはらしたのでした。多分ゲームで泣いたのはあれは最初。やっぱりわたしはドラクエのそういうところが好きになれない。げんじつせかいのライフコッドたる東京都下西部の、そのなんの特色も面白みも無いわたしの生まれ故郷。継母にいじめられたシンデレラには本当はいくつかの選択肢があったはず。シンデレラがなんで家を飛び出さなかったかと言えば、彼女には諸侯が乱立する波乱に満ちた中世ヨーロッパの世界を女一人で生きる強さも覚悟も無かったからに違いないのだ。わたしは健康保険証を手に東京のライフコッドを後にします。民主主義は力無きものにも一応仮初めの平等をくれる。それはたぶん冒険の初頭にだけ使える「ひのきのぼう」みたいなもの。それでも今が封権制度の時代じゃなくて本当に良かったとは思うんだ。あれからきみのレベルは十分に上がったのだし、闇の王と戦う準備もできているはず。あの人はそう言うけれどわたしは本当は知っていました。わたしはこの世界の主人公ではなかったってことを。そう、わたしは世界を救う勇者ではありませんでした。でもそれを知ってわたしは安堵したのです。だって可愛いターニャと別れる心配も、もう無いのだから。「そのかわり」喜ぶわたしをたしなめるようにあの人はめずらしく真顔で言ったものです。「きみ以外の、どこかのへっぽこな勇者のせいで世界が闇に沈んでしまうかもしれないけどね」いや、もうこれ以上無いってくらい十分闇に覆い尽くされてるんですけど、この世界は。（効果音　シチュエーション・コメディばりの観客の爆笑）だからといって、それから何かが変わるわけもなくあれからわたしはいまだに毎日冒険を続けています。人生はまるで安手のテレビゲーム。もっと言っちゃえばｸｿｹﾞｰ。それでもサイレント・ヒルじゃないだけ良かった。それにうちのパーティのメンバー、基本的に全然役に立たないからわたしが頑張るしかないんです。正直「おどりこ」は現実世界ではあんまり役に立たないんだ。というわけで。わたしはこれからもこの弱い心をプラチナの甲冑で覆い、薔薇色に輝く偽勇者の剣を持って荒野を進み続けることにします。可愛い妹ターニャの笑顔を夢見ながら。（もっともわたしは一人っ子ですが）だからどうか神様。もしも願いが届くのであればせめてこの「世界」に幸多からんことを。せかいじゅうのゆうしゃにあいをこめて。あなたのゆうしゃ　あがっとらてより2009/04/26(日) 05:25:36|未分類| トラックバック(-)| コメント(-)

A kaleidoscope is a tube of mirrors containing loose colored beads, pebbles or other small colored objects. The viewer looks in one end and light enters the other end, reflecting off the mirrors. Typically there are two rectangular lengthwise mirrors. Setting of the mirrors at 45° creates eight duplicate images of the objects, six at 60°, and four at 90°. As the tube is rotated, the tumbling of the colored objects presents the viewer with varying colors and patterns. Any arbitrary pattern of objects shows up as a beautiful symmetric pattern because of the reflections in the mirrors. A two-mirror model yields a pattern or patterns isolated against a solid black background, while a three-mirror (closed triangle) model yields a pattern that fills the entire field.

The Degrand Channel is a large, open expanse of water six sims wide. Across those sims you will find the remains of an ancient land-dwelling civilization, underwater volcanoes, shipwrecks from times past and present, and a number of treasure chests holding relics for your avatar. After some inspection, it looks to be a project of the Linden Department of Public Works. Their work here is to be applauded!

Occasionally, you can hear melodious humming from the quiet little factory in her mind.  Open air studios sprinkled with blurry images, inaudible sounds and fragrance not yet categorized but dominated by earthly scents, like the smell of burning peat moss from her distant past.  In the darker recesses unused pieces are stored in piles and stacks. Some neatly organized, others strewn about like the aftermath of a great storm, but each has a place.
